Michael has been servicing clients since 1984. He is the founder and branch manager of Synergy’s Tampa office.
Over the years, Michael has dedicated his practice to serving individuals over the age of 50. These individuals, who have often taken on the role of caregiver in their families, look to him for guidance in their transition through a separation, divorce, or the passing of a spouse or partner. Michael addresses their concerns regarding lifetime income planning, funding, healthcare in retirement, and legacy & estate planning.
Michael also specializes in serving professionals, family businesses and entrepreneurs. For them, he develops custom plans aiming to help them preserve and invest their personal wealth. Michael has extensive experience in developing, implementing, and monitoring qualified plans for businesses, including 401(k) and defined benefit plans. In addition, his role as the co-founder of the Business Transition Council of Tampa gives him a unique insight to the concerns and issues of small business owners, specifically in regards to succession, exit, and transition planning.
Michael is a member of the Society of Financial Services Professionals. When he is away from the office, he serves his community as a member of the Krewe of the Knights of Sant’Yago and as a board member of the Cuban Club Foundation. He currently resides in Tampa with his wife Peggy and his two daughters.
