We're growing! Synergy Wealth Alliance is proud to announce that Michael Valdez has joined the firm as its newest financial advisor. He is the founder and branch manager of Synergy’s newest office in Tampa.

“Michael’s dedication to his clients is unparalleled and he’s a well-respected, upstanding member of the Tampa business community. We’re grateful to have him in the Synergy family,” said Chris Bordner, managing partner, Synergy Wealth Alliance. “With Michael heading up an office in Lutz, we’re now able to serve clients in Southwest Florida.”

Michael, a Certified Financial Planner and Investment Advisor Representative, has been serving clients since 1983. Over the years, Michael has dedicated his practice to serving individuals over age 50 who have often taken on the role of caregiver in their families. These clients look to him for guidance in their transition through a separation, divorce, or the passing of a spouse or partner. Michael addresses their concerns regarding lifetime income planning, healthcare in retirement, and legacy and estate planning.

Michael also specializes in serving professionals, family businesses and entrepreneurs. For them, he develops custom plans designed to help them preserve, protect, and grow their personal wealth. Michael has extensive experience in developing, implementing, and monitoring qualified plans for businesses, including 401(k) and defined benefit plans. In addition, his role as the co-founder of the Business Transition Council of Tampa gives him a unique insight to the concerns and issues of entrepreneurs, specifically in regards to succession, exit and transition planning.

Michael is a member of the Society of Financial Services Professionals. When he is away from the office, he serves his community as a member of Krewe of the Knights of Sant’ Yago and as a board member of the Cuban Club Foundation. He currently resides in Tampa with his wife Peggy and his two daughters.
