Retired? Wondering what you could be doing to fill your time? If you’re looking for a good book on retirement, you may want to check out the two books featured below! These come as recommendations from a few of our retired clients who say they had a significant influence on their thinking about retirement life.
- 101 Fun Things to do in Retirement by Stella Rheingold – If you’ve ever had a moment where you thought retirement might get boring, then you need to have this book accessible at all times! It’s a humorous and unconventional take on retirement written with the intention of giving you permission to live a little and follow your dreams. There will be nothing boring about your life if you commit to doing some or any of these fun activities if retirement starts to get stale. This book is not for the easily offended, so reader be warned.
- Where Will You Be Five Years from Today? by Dan Zadra – This compelling book of self-examination forces you to take a look at your life, attitude, abilities, goals and future and relate them to your potential in a way no other book does. Zadra asks pertinent questions, provides helpful exercises and offers reflective moments to allow you to gain perspective on how other successful people have gotten to where they are and how you are essentially no different than them. We are all provided the same time in a day, a week, a month and a year. It is how you choose to view it and spend it that will define you and where you will be five years from today. It’s a very inspirational and motivating read!
